ST. PATRICK’S DAY ☘️💚 We started the day with a beautiful Whole School Mass 🙏, honouring our School Saint and reflecting on their inspiring legacy 🕊️ Afterward, we enjoyed a lovely family picnic 🍽️ where students and families shared morning tea together ☕ The fun continued with students participating in a range of exciting activities like egg and spoon races 🥚🏃♂️, a leprechaun chase 🏃♀️🍀, and a shamrock pat game 🟢 Students had a blast working together as a team, cheering each other on and making lasting memories! 🤗 What a magical day filled with faith, green spirit, and lots of laughter! 🍀🍀 #StPatricksDay #SchoolSaint #LuckyToBeTogether #Teamwork #GreenVibes #ShamrockFun #FamilyDay

In today’s Gospel, we are invited to ascend the mountain ⛰ with Jesus, along with Peter, James, and John, and witness a glimpse of His divine glory👀🌅🎚✝️. The Transfiguration is a powerful moment where Jesus’ divinity shines through His humanity, as His clothes become dazzling white 🥋, and He converses with Moses and Elijah — representing the Law and the Prophets. The voice of the Father echoes: "This is my beloved Son. Listen to Him." This passage speaks deeply to us during Lent, a season of transformation, repentance, and deeper communion with God 🛐. The Transfiguration reminds us that behind the sufferings and sacrifices we endure, there is a greater glory 😇 that God has prepared for us. Lent is a time to allow God to "transfigure" our hearts💞— to cleanse, purify, and make us more radiant with His love 🫶. God gives us moments of light 🌅 and peace🕊 to remind us He is with us, even when we face hardships. Lent calls us to silence the distractions around us and truly listen to Jesus' words in Scripture 📖 and in the quiet of our hearts ❤️. Where is He leading us? What is He asking us to change? Year 6 had an incredible day today at Penrith Panthers, joining other Year 6 students from schools across the CSPD! 🙌✨ We spent the day filled with prayer, reflection, singing, dancing, and more — all centered around how we ENCOUNTER Jesus in our lives and grow in understanding Human Dignity. 🌟🙏💃🎶 What a truly inspiring and memorable day, CSPD! 💖

Our Year 4 students have been exploring people's different perspectives and how they view the world 🌎 in our English unit this term. Students were asked to pick any event they had attended with family or friends and ask them questions about how they felt throughout the event. They then presented their answers to their classmates using PowerPoint 💻, posters 📜, and video presentations 🎥. Go YEAR 4! 🙌✨

✝️ First Sunday of Lent – A Time for Reflection and Resilience As we begin this holy season of Lent,✝️ we are reminded of the powerful example set by Jesus in the wilderness.🌅 In the Gospel 📖, we see how, after fasting for forty days and nights, Jesus was tempted by the devil in ways that mirrored the struggles we face in our own lives: desires for power, control, and comfort. But through His steadfast faith 🛐, Jesus shows us that it is possible to resist temptation and remain faithful to God.🙏🙏 This Sunday calls us to reflect on our own spiritual journeys. Just as Jesus faced temptation and emerged victorious, we are invited to examine our hearts ❤️ and our lives. What are the temptations that challenge us? Where do we need God's strength 💪to remain faithful? Lent offers us a time to strip away distractions and renew our commitment to prayer 🙏, fasting 🫢, and almsgiving🫂, as we grow closer to God. Let us pray🙏 for the grace to face the challenges of this season with courage and determination.
