πŸ“š Second-Hand Book Sale πŸ“š As part of Book Week, we’re holding a Second-Hand Book Sale in Week 6 (24–28 August) to raise funds for Reading Out of Poverty (ROOP). We’re seeking quality pre-loved picture books, short novels and chapter books. Donations can be dropped at the Front Office or given to your child’s class teacher. 🌹 Celebrating the Feast of the Assumption of Mary 🌹 Today we celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary β€” a beautiful celebration of Mary’s faith, courage, love and unwavering trust in God. πŸ™πŸ’™ The Assumption reminds us of our belief that, at the end of her earthly life, Mary was taken body and soul into Heaven to be with her Son, Jesus. Her life points us towards the hope of eternal life and reminds us that God’s love is always with us. ✨ Mary said β€œyes” to God and continued to live that yes through her service, compassion and faithfulness.
