Our amazing Year 2 students have been working so hard to fill their gem jar, and today they enjoyed their well-earned reward! ๐ŸŽ‰ They stepped into the kitchen as mini chefs, creating delicious Milo chocolate balls, colourful fruit skewers, fairy bread, and beautifully iced biscuits. Celebrating our school Feast Day this St Patrickโ€™s Day ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ€ We came together as a whole school community for a beautiful Mass, sharing in prayer and reflection. Throughout the day, students learned about St Patrick and his message of kindness, courage and faith. ๐Ÿ€ St Patrickโ€™s Day! ๐Ÿ€ On Tuesday 17th march, families are warmly invited to join us for: ๐Ÿ’š Whole School Mass at 9:15am ๐Ÿ’š St Patrickโ€™s Day Assembly at 1:30pm in the hall Students are asked to wear green with closed-toe shoes. They will also enjoy a disco in the hall, a small treat, and can purchase shamrock tattoos for 50c as part of our Project Compassion fundraiser. Our St Patrickโ€™s Rugby League teams โ˜˜๏ธhave been busy preparing for the upcoming Parramatta Eels 9s Gala Day with a Tackle Ready session delivered by Matt and Amelia from NRL Development. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‰ A big thank you to Matt and Amelia for sharing their time and expertise, helping our students build their skills, confidence and understanding of the game. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช Itโ€™s been fantastic to see the excitement from the teams, especially with some of our students playing Rugby League for the very first time, and they are already loving it! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ”ฅ We canโ€™t wait to see them put their new skills into action at the Parramatta Eels 9s Gala Day! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ“ Year 3 Measurement Challenge! ๐Ÿ“ Today in Year 3 we explored measurement using metres (m), centimetres (cm), and millimetres (mm). Our challenge was to work in teams to design and build a tower that was exactly 1 metre tall! Students carefully measured, adjusted, and checked their structures to make sure they reached 1 m. Along the way we practised converting between cm and mm estimating heights, and using rulers and tape measures accurately. There was lots of teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking as students experimented with different designs to keep their towers standing tall. Some groups even had to rebuild when their measurements were slightly off! Kindy has been busy learning lots of new things! ๐Ÿฏ In Maths, we have been exploring patterns, learning how to make two-part patterns using objects, colours and even our bodies through movement. The students had so much fun creating and continuing patterns with their friends. In English, we have been learning about the letter and sound โ€˜tโ€™. To help us remember the sound, we made a tiger craft for t. Our classroom is now full of terrific tigers! ๐Ÿงก We are so proud of our clever learners and the wonderful work they are doing. โœจ

Our school grounds were buzzing with energy today for the St Patrickโ€™s Cross Country Carnival! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿƒโ˜˜๏ธ Students from Years 2โ€“6 took on the challenge, tackling the 2km and 3km courses around the school grounds with determination and great effort ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ”ฅ Todayโ€™s races also helped us see which runners will go on to represent the school at the 2026 Diocesan Cross Country. It was fantastic to see students cheering each other on, supporting their peers and celebrating as runners crossed the finish line ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰ The encouragement and sportsmanship shown throughout the day made it a great event for everyone involved ๐Ÿ™Œ A big thank you to our wonderful staff who helped the event run smoothly. Well done to all of our runners for giving it their best! ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ’š
