Our Year 6 students attended the 2023 Youth Eco Summit 🧐 at Sydney Olympic Park on Thursday alongside several other schools from Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese. Our senior students took part in a workshop presented by #mynrma and learnt about the features and benefits of the latest modes of transport 🚘🚁 heading our way in the not too distant future. They also had the opportunity to learn about the significance of Aboriginal storytelling in dance by partaking in an Indigenous dance workshop led by Aboriginal leaders from Cairns. Our ZING Activ challenge showcase was such an exciting evening! 🥳 The students danced with great enthusiasm and you could hear their cheers throughout the stadium. Thank you 📣 to all of the St. Patrick’s staff, parents, friends and community who came to support the ☘️ students. It was wonderful to see that we had a number of students place for both the Jive and Tango partner dance categories! 💃🏽🕺🏻 A special congratulations to Year 6 who were the overall winners in the Partner Dances! 🏆 We express our thanks and gratitude to Jorgia from ZING Activ and Mrs Khoury for their tireless efforts in preparing the students for the 🙏💐 show. Our St Pat's ☘️ Guildford debaters have worked so hard this term. We are very proud 🫶 of how Ayla, Christabel, Hayden and Irini from Year 5 conducted themselves over the last few weeks as they debated 🎤 their way through a range of topics. They faced many challenges and have been triumphant 🌟 for the past four weeks. Today they continued to represent our school with great pride at the Grand Final! Although the result didn’t work in their favour, having won four out of five debates over the past several weeks is still 👏 impressive! They are winners 🤩 in all our eyes! We congratulate Holy Family Primary School, East Granville on their win🏆 👏👏 Hit the 👍 button to show your support for our 2023 school debating team!

Check out some shots 📸 from the Eels Festival of Footy Rugby League Gala Day in Parramatta. 🏈 Our three teams played some fantastic games against a number of schools from across the Parramatta region. ☀️ The students defended with plenty of heart, showed great teamwork in their attack and had a great day together! 💙💚💛 Thank you to the NRL Development squad for putting on such an awesome event, and to all of our passionate supporters, it would never be the same without you. 😄 A special congratulations to the Year 5 team who were undefeated in all of their games,🥇 you were outstanding. 🤩What a way to end a fantastic term of sport for our St Pats champions! 🏆☘️

The spirit, energy and enthusiasm of our Stage 2 Touch Football teams cannot be matched! 🤩 Even in the heat, these teams showed up to each other's games to support each other and cheer them across the try line. 🏈 A huge thank you to Mr Nassar for coaching and managing the teams. 🙏 Our Stage 2 Girls team were able to come away with 2 wins and 1 draw, 👏 they played with plenty of heart, 💚💛💙 improved in every game and had the best post try celebrations 🥳. As for our Stage 2 Boys, they had an epic day, finishing as the Pool WINNERS 🏆Not only were they undefeated in all of their games, but their outstanding defence meant that only two tries were scored against them the entire day! 😮 What an amazing achievement for our students, you’ve all made St Patrick’s so proud! ☘️🥇
