At St Patrick’s Primary, we aim to offer a holistic education, with opportunities to develop socially, emotionally and physically as well as academically.
Our students are encouraged to participate in a range of activities that allow them to develop a range of interests and abilities. We aim for students to discover their own talents and to provide the chance for them to fully explore these while being supported by committed staff who believe in the importance of educating the whole person. Extracurricular opportunities include:
- School Choir
- Dance Fever
- Delaney Debating competition
- Premier’s Reading Challenge
- Voice of Youth Public Speaking Competition.
Sports
Sport at St Patrick’s is about participation, teamwork, healthy lifestyle choices, skill development and, above all, fun.
All children are given the chance to become involved at a level with which they feel comfortable, and to extend this involvement to realise the potential harboured within each individual. Those children who exhibit particular talents in sport have access to representative sports at a number of levels, from school through to national.
We take part in all zone carnivals for Swimming, Cross-Country and Athletics. For these events, the children have the opportunity to represent at Zone, Diocesan and State levels. On top of school carnivals, we also participate in the Parramatta Diocese Touch Football, Netball, Soccer and Gymnastics competitions. For the boys who play Rugby League, we take part in the Parramatta Schoolboy Knockout for all ages.
