It is my pleasure to share with you the exciting, inspiring and engaging learning community that is St Patrick’s Primary.
At St Patrick's, we take pride in providing a supportive and caring environment in which children can learn and grow. Our highly qualified and committed staff work together as a team to nurture children as they develop spiritually, academically, socially and emotionally. We have a rich history of delivering a high standard of faith-based education, with over 100 years of experience.
Our learning and teaching are based on the latest educational research and the needs of our students. When you visit St Patrick’s you will see students working both in teams and independently, using a range of technologies in flexible learning spaces, to maximise their learning. Our students are learning to solve real-world problems and to take responsibility for their own learning. We are focused on developing in our students skills for the future such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.
We are driven by our mission to teach and share the beliefs and values of our Catholic faith. We aim to provide our students with a variety of opportunities to know God's love and to nurture their faith in prayer, celebration, belonging and community. Our faith is woven throughout our daily school life, and we encourage our students to demonstrate the Christian values of compassion and generosity through a range of social justice activities. Our students are learning to make a positive contribution to their world and we are proud to guide them on this journey.
We welcome the parents and carers of our students to our school community, and value them as vital partners in their child's learning. We encourage them to be actively involved in school life and focus on maintaining positive, open communication with our families. We acknowledge parents as their child’s first educators and seek to work with you to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for your children.
Our school motto is 'Virtue and Honour', and we aim to live out our motto through all our endeavours and relationships. We are proud of our school and parish community and know that together, we are making a difference by being safe, respectful learners.
If you have any questions about our wonderful school, don’t hesitate to contact us - we’d love to hear from you!
