✨ Socktober Soccer Gala Day! ⚽🧦 On Friday 5th December, ten of our amazing Stage 3 students represented our school as part of the FIAT team at the Catholic Mission Socktober Gala Day. They versed different schools from across the diocese and pushed through the very hot weather with determination and teamwork. 🔥☀️ They played four 12-minute games, and at the 9-minute mark of each match the regular soccer ball was swapped for a sock ball — a great reminder of the mission behind the day. 🧦💛 Huge congratulations to all students for their outstanding effort, positive attitude, and fantastic sportsmanship. Congratulations to our students who participated in the combined Invitational Swimming Carnival with our friends from @holyfamilyprimarygranville ! The cheers 🎉 and the buzz around the pool made it a fantastic event. 🌟 A massive thank you to: 👏 Mr Jones for keeping the races running smoothly as Starter and Marshal 👏 Our Year 6 helpers: Izayah, Xavier, Emily and Alyssa for their fantastic work with timing and place judging 👏 All the families who came along to support. Your encouragement means so much to our swimmers ❤️ We were especially proud of the students who showed confidence and courage by stepping into extra races, even when they had not entered them beforehand. That’s the St. Pat’s spirit!. 💪 We are excited to see many of our students trial to represent St Patrick’s at the Cumberland Zone Swimming Carnival next year. 🏆🌊 A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success! 🐬🎊

🎉 Whole School Reward Day! 🎉 This Friday, 12th December, we’re celebrating with a Colour Run for Zing Activ! 🌈🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Students are to come to school wearing sport shorts and a white t-shirt, and bring their sport shirt, a towel, and a plastic bag 🩳👕🧼🛍️ Our amazing students have worked so hard throughout the year to fill up our Whole School Gem Jar 💎🙌 We can’t wait to celebrate their efforts together! ✨💙💛

On Monday, we went to the hall and talked to the senior citizens 👵👴 We talked about what we can do now and what we did in the past 🕰️. We shared stories about school in our lifetime, and they told us about their stories when they were in school 📚 Here are some facts that we learned: * They used a chalkboard 🧽 * They didn’t have whiteboard tables ✏️ * They would get hit with a cane if they were in trouble at school 😬 * They didn’t have a TV, laptop or phone 📺💻📱 Written by Nader, Sebastian and Charlie (Year 2) ✍️😊
