Our Kindy students have been busy sharpening their throwing, catching and handling skills during Sport πββοΈπββοΈTheyβve been practising how to track an object with their eyes π, move into position and use safe hands when catching π, while also working on aiming and control when throwing π― These fun activities are building coordination, confidence and important fundamental movement skills πͺβ¨So many smiles and lots of fun as they learn and improve each week! ππ

During this sacred season of Lent, we are reminded that even the smallest act of generosity can make a powerful difference. π Our school community is proudly supporting Project Compassion through Caritas Australia, and we invite all families to join us in uniting against poverty. St Patβs was buzzing today as we welcomed the Parramatta Eels Development Team, along with NRL players Jack De Belin and Luca Moretti!! π€©ππ Students threw themselves into fun, fast-paced footy drills and gamesπ¨π₯, learning new skills and having a blast along the way πͺπ After the session, students enjoyed chatting with the players, taking photos and getting autographs πΈπ β So many big smiles π and an atmosphere full of excitement! π A huge thank you to the NRL and Parramatta Eels for bringing the energy, encouragement and inspiration to our students! πππ

Today our Primary students attended Ash Wednesday Mass and our Infants participated in a reverent Liturgy, receiving ashes in the sign of the cross as we begin the sacred season of Lent βοΈπ Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a time of prayer, reflection, and kindness as we grow closer to God πΏπ We are proud of the respectful and prayerful manner in which our students gathered together in faith as a school community β¨π
